Let it Snow, Bring on the Cold
Winter Fun
Most things hibernate in the winter. Not here in Maine. The locals in Maine look forward to the winter and the snow. They have so many activities geared toward the white stuff.
We have learned that a snowmobile is called a sled. That in Maine school's they go skiing in gym. They teach the children from real young how to snowshoe in school, and they love it. They go out everyday for recess unless it drops below 10 degrees. Boy that is cold.
You find it looks pretty with snow on the ground all the time. Your body does get used to the cold. You just dress warmer. You stay closer to the fireplace when you get to cold.
Well of course the puppies join us by a nice warm fire. That is, when they are not playing outside or going with us for a walk.
